Even if you haven’t got your own website yet there are many ways to use the Internet to promote your business digitally, and many of them are totally FREE.
Although we recommend every business absolutely needs a website with its own domain name and branding, you can still get your name out there online and bring in more customers by implementing these three marketing initiatives.
If you do have your own website then that’s even better, because most of the places we will be visiting will have somewhere to leave a link back to your domain. Which is great for your search rankings.
Connecting Social Media Accounts
Facebook to Twitter Or Twitter to Facebook
Post Once, Post Everywhere.
So you have a Facebook page and Twitter account set up for your business and you are (or should be) posting interesting and relevant content related to your industry regularly to engage your fans or followers. But staying active on both networks can start to become a drain on your available marketing time, especially if like many others you get drawn into a rabbit warren of friends and family members photos, tweets, status updates and comments every time you log in.
One way to save time but still appear to be active on both networks is to connect your accounts together, either Facebook to Twitter or vice-versa, so that you only need to post once on one social network but the same content is posted to the other network(s) automatically.
